Description:

This free webinar is an introductory overview of problem gambling and the services available in WA state to provide treatment, prevention, and research.  It will also share a number of resources that will allow attendees to dive deeper into education on this topic, access gambling/gaming screening tools and community/treatment referral resources.  It will also provide an overview of the Gambling Counselor Certification Credential and where to go to start the certification process.

Objectives:

1. Identify the basic prevalence and services to address problem gambling in WA state.
2. Know where to go for gambling screening and help resources.
3. Be able to determine if becoming a Certified Gambling Counselor is right for you, and where to go to start the process.
