Treatment is available for Problem Gamblers and their families. Many qualify for the subsidized treatment at low or no cost.

Treatment

ECPG is working to expand the availability of Problem Gambling treatment in Washington State. The Council maintains a referral list of qualified Problem Gambling treatment professionals and refers clients through the Problem Gambling Helpline (1-800-547-6133). In 2002-2003, the state Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse (DASA) tasked ECPG with setting up and administering a pilot program to provide subsidized treatment for Problem Gamblers and family members. As part of this pilot program, the ECPG provided specialized training for 25 treatment providers throughout the state. More than 200 individuals received treatment under this pilot program.
